RAWNIE PARSONS-LOCK

Patch talks was organized by four Amsterdam based artists. The aim of this project was to start a conversation with people who live in the area, about clothes. The whole experience and final art piece was  free.
 
Clothes can say a lot about a person, some people use clothes to express themselves and others don't think too much about it and just wear what's comfortable. Either way a decision is made. During the "patch talk" the artists had a casual chat with the customer about their experiences with clothes. sometimes the conversation lead to a very different subject, this made the whole experience even more interesting. While one artist kept the conversation a flow, the other one was busy making a personal patch. The patches were inspired by the conversation. Finally the patch is finished off and explained to the customer.
